The Senior Adult Ministry of the North Roanoke Baptist Association recently held its Annual Christmas Lunch at Union Missionary Baptist Church to kick off the Christmas season and Commeration of the birth of Jesus Christ.  We were excited by the 320 in attendance representing 28 of our 62 churches!

We had a delicious meal followed by singing a collection of Christmas hymns and carols.  We were then treated to an unforgettable 'live' rendition of the 'Twelve Days of Christmas.'  The Senior Adult Committee would like to warmly thank those 12 men who participated to make it such a great time.  We would also like to thank Dot Ussery who helped to coordinate the scene.  And then we were reminded of many Christmas memories of the seniors in attendance.

The committee would like to remind those seniors & all the others in the association to start making your plans to attend the Sr. Adult Picnic in May, 2009.  More information is due out not too long from now!  My how time flies!
